We are talking to Tim McGraw today about the songs on his newGreatest hits album called McGraw Machine Hits, and the nextSong was featured on Tim's Sundown/Heaventown album. It wasActually the third song he released off that album; it went onTo become a number one, and the song just felt good. It's called "Shotgun Rider," and here's how Tim thought about the songIt's one of those songs that, when you listen to it, you picture theWindows down, you picture late afternoon, you picture sort of thisHazy sort of feel to it, and just, you kinda, in my mind, you, youLook over and see the person that you love, that smile and relaxingAnd just, the wind blowin' in their hair, and you're just cruisin'Along and you just sorta look at, look over and think, you know, "How good do I have it?" You know, "I just, it's, life is perfect forMe." And that's what that song, the imagery of that song says to meYou know, I hear him talking about that, and I just picture himAnd Faith Hill riding along in his truck; I can see it. AndInstead of calling it his "Ride or Die," like a lot of people doShe's his shotgun rider. And you'll find this on Tim McGraw's newGreatest hits album, which is available now, McGraw Machine Hits
