And I amSo happy to be joined in studio by Reba! Hey Reba. How are ya?Hey! I'm great, Becca. How you doin'?Are you gettin' in the holiday spirit?Ho, ho, ho! Absolutely! That's good. Well, you know, over the next hour we are gonna play yourEntire Christmas album. We're gonna talk about some of the songs onThe album, share some holiday thoughts and stories, and hopefullyJust bring a little Christmas cheer to everybody. SoFirst I wanna talk about the album as a whole. Looking overThe tracklist, you've got some secular songs, you've gotSome spiritual songs, and there are so many endless possibilitiesWhen you're picking Christmas songs to record. So, howDid you set about picking these particular fourteen songs?Well, Becca, I basically do it the way I do any album: I find myFavorite songs that I wanna sing, that I love to listen to, thatMean something to do that touch my heart. And when they touchMy heart and I sing 'em, hopefully they'll touch your heart tooAnd I know that this is usually a tough question for an artistWhen we're talking about their own songs, but since these areChristmas classics, do you have a favorite off of this album?Oh, "Mary, Did You Know?" "Hard Candy Christmas." That kindOf takes care of both the secular and the spiritual. (Yeah)And I think those are two of my favoritesWell, they're definitely two good ones, and I say let's goAhead and start playing some of the music off of Reba's "My Kind of Christmas." We've got plenty more coming from herBut first here's "Winter Wonderland" on Big Machine Radio
