Not too many years agoWhen dreams were coming trueI'd reach for inspirationSometimes it would be youI'd hear you on the radioI sure did like your soundSay it's good to know there's stillA few ol' country boys aroundFrom the smoke it's hard to tellWhat's coming down the lineWe heard you were a fast trainComing out of CarolineWe wondered what you were haulin'When you rolled into townSay it's good to know there's stillA few ol' country boys aroundYou must have felt that same old feelingMore than once or twiceGuitars pressed against our heartsUnder the neon lightsI've got to say that feelingIs the best that I have foundLord it's good to know there's stillA few ol' country boys aroundThere's a lot of truth you knowIn our kind of songsAbout the life you're livingAnd how love's done you wrongAs long as there's a jukeboxAnd a honky tonk in townIt's good to know there's stillA few ol' country boys aroundIt's good to know there's stillA few ol' country boys around
